NTFS Support for Android

Finally I stumbled on to support for read/write on NTFS disks from android OS.

You can find it at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1056759&highlight=ntfs take the last version of it not the one at the beginning.

I also recommend to 'stay tuned' on XDA-developers forums as they have and also analyse everything with regards to mobile devices

Google Maps 5.4 on Android (continued)

Unfortunately the joy of having the latest google maps on my android didn't last long: For a weird reason after I ran Google Latitude on it, it brought back the old map :-(

Google Maps 5.4 on Android

At last I managed to get my hands on version 5.4. I had version 4.5 until now and to be honest I didn't know why it didn't show the same map as I was receiving on my notebook.

I did some adding of streets and sites at my area (using google's mapmaker) and while they were approved and shown on google maps on the internet, I couldn't see the changes on my mobile. I did notice though that when starting the new version and adding the satellite image as additional layer it showed eventually the changes I did!!!

This is great!
